Developer OneShark and publisher Another Indie announced the turn-based RPG Doors of Insanity for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. While no release date is mentioned, the Steam page indicates that the game will release, “When all hope is lost!”. The announcement trailer can be viewed below.
Doors of Insanity is a turn-based roguelike RPG with card-based combat. Players are stuck in purgatory and the only method of escaping appears to be behind the Doors of Madness. Players will be able to customize their character as well as the cards they bring into battle, though if the player dies all but one card is lost upon the next playthrough. There will be allies that players can summon to aid them, numerous weapons to equip, and over 70 cards to collect, as the hero journeys through the four major areas that houses over 40 doors to explore.
