Nihon Falcom released the opening movie to the upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki. In addition, the company released new screenshots introducing more characters appearing in the game — including more members of Class VII from Trails of Cold Steel — and some side-story and mini-game content. The side-story sees Freddy from the Thors Branch Campus collecting food for a certain event, while the mini-games revolve around Class VII being invited to a resort.
The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki takes place shortly after the events of Trails of Cold Steel IV and will feature three main protagonists based in different parts of the continent of Zemuria. Hajimari no Kiseki is set to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on August 27, 2020, while Trails of Cold Steel IV is set to be released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 on October 27, 2020, and for PC and Nintendo Switch in spring 2021.
