Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we take a look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to help give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our less regular visitors might have missed.

The first week of #JRPGJuly is in the books. Let’s see how things are starting out for the RPGamer staff with their chosen games.


Major News

During its presentation today, NACON revealed the latest title from GreedFall developer Spiders. Steelrising is set in a version of 18th-century France, where King Louis XVI has an automata army that is running amok.

THQ Nordic’s remaster of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be launching in September. The game will also be getting some new content in the form of an expansion next year.

Limited Run Games held its annual LRG3 presentation today. The presentation featured announcements of upcoming physical releases, including a number of RPGs.

Ys Origin, the prequel to the action RPG series, is coming to Switch. The game will launch on the console later this year, with RPGamers in North America able to pre-order physical editions.

The eighth expansion for World of Warcraft is arriving this year. As part of a dedicated livestream, Blizzard announced the contents of its Collector’s Edition.

Ahead of next week’s launch of Paper Mario: The Origami King, Nintendo held a special Treehouse Live presentation. The video features over thirty minutes of gameplay footage.
