Deep Silver released a new twenty-minute gameplay video for the upcoming survival adventure RPG Windbound. The video features commentary from developer 5 Lives Studios’ co-founder and lead animator Mitch Clifford and looks at parts of the game’s first chapter. It includes some tips for the game’s hunting, crafting, and sailing systems.
Windbound takes players to the Forbidden Islands, with players controlling a warrior called Kara who washes up on the islands after being thrown from her boat. In order to survive, Kara will need to craft tools and weapons to survive as she uncovers the secrets of the islands. The game is set to launch on August 28, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
